My first yoga experience at the local gym was HORRIBLE! I left class in more pain than when I started. I thought this was suppose to be relaxing and stress free. I didn't give up and eventually found wonderful teacher and studio which allowed me to slowly transform my body and more importantly my mind.
I work full time and often found it difficult to find time for regular yoga practice. It is challenging to find ways to incorporate yoga & meditation every day life to erase the conditions of high blood pressure, arthritis, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and back problems. These are all conditions I currently live with and have personally seen the benefits from a regular yoga practice which led to Pop Up Yoga. Bringing yoga practice to the community for an opportunity to practice that is convenient for you and away from a traditional yoga studio setting.
When I'm not working or practicing yoga, then you can usually find me volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, hiking, traveling or at home cooking & enjoying a glass of wine with family & friends. Just taking life one breath at a time.
